As an Interior Designer...
I am here to create a design that helps you get the most fulfillment out of your space.
Together we dive deep into what is currently working and not working for you. If you’re designing from scratch we discuss what your vision is and how you can see your self using your new space.
We discover inspiration for your personal style and develop a unique design language by drawing from examples of existing styles. We work through design challenges and bring more intentional energy flow into your space by creating an optimal layout.
I am here to guide you through every step of the process to make sure your project turns out beautifully.

Visualizing your project: I work on projects of all shapes and sizes.
Whether you are planning a renovation, a new build, or even refreshing a room in your home, three dimensional design can be an extremely helpful tool to plan out an visualize your space. I find that so many design issues can be worked through and resolved ahead of time to ensure we create a space that you're truly happy with, that also works with your budget.
If you're doing a new build, I can help you with a lot work for the initial design and layout, often saving thousands of dollars in architecture fees. (In the case of a new build, an architect & structural engineer can be brought on later, for their refinements and stamp of approval).
Even if we are not located in the same place, I can work with you remotely to create a design you are happy with, that you can use as a blueprint to give to your contractor, crew, or even YOU if you're interested in doing some of the labor to cut down on costs.
What I offer...
CONSULTATION - The consulting process consists of asking a lot of important questions to help you get clear on your goals to create a customized design plan.
MOOD BOARD - We develop a mood board with inspiration images, materials, textures and objects that create the aesthetic of your space.
3D MODELING - I provide a 3D model to achieve an optimal layout which then becomes a map for the specifications of the design.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT - I can act as project manager, selecting and making recommendations for materials and furnishings within your budget. I update the budget with actual materials costs throughout the project and provide reports.
COMMUNICATION- I can work with project builders or contractors to make sure the project comes out according to design specifications. I will work with you as a client to keep you included in important design choices along the way.
STYLING - I can bring it all together in the end by furnishing, styling and applying the finishing touches to the space. I also provide professional photographs of the finished space.
My design rate starts at $65 depending on the scope of the project and how much work and responsibility I am taking on.
Designing a room starts at $1,000, depending on the level of complexity, and goes up to an average of $10,0000 if I am designing a whole house. If I am involved in the implementation of the design, I work for an additional fee or hourly rate.
FUN FACT: Our gallery / design studio "MAH Creative" was mentioned in Vogue in 2023.
I work with clients remotely via zoom and locally in New Mexico.

My favorite person to work with
(as well as my favorite person in the world) is my husband David Hines. David is a fine woodworker, who offers custom woodwork, and fine furnishings. Most of the work on this site are projects that we have collaborated on together. He continues to blow my mind with his love of researching and quickly mastering new tools and techniques. He has been the backbone to bringing many of my designs to life.
